記得在曼城信主的那段日子，你如一位姊姊每星期带着一个结他来到我家中，与一班年纪相约的弟兄姐妹在一起查经，及与我们一起唱詩歌。你不单在屬灵方面幫助我成長，在我選擇配偶的事也关心我，記得我告訴你我認識一个男的（當時Gordon 还没信主），當時你也着急而默默地为我祷告。

在上次見妳的時候，妳面上的笑容，知道你病了，心里帶着愁容的我们竟被你那露出盼望的笑容容化了我们的心！

玉蓮姊，你活出信仰和美好的見證！永远留在我心中！谢谢妳玉蓮姊，有一天我们会相見（在天家）！

I remember during the days we spent together in Manchester as sisters in Christ that you came to my house with a guitar every week to join us for Bible study and to sing worship songs together with us.  Not only did you help me grow spiritually, you also cared about who I would be with as a spouse. I remember when I told you that I had met a man (Gordon wasn't a Christian yet) that you were anxious but still quietly kept me in your prayers.

Seeing the smile on your face the last time we met, knowing that you were sick, made our sad hearts glad as your hopeful smile shone through.

Sister Yuk Lin, you lived out your faith as a beautiful testimony.  You will forever remain in my heart. Thank you sister Yuk Lin, we will see each other again one day (in Heaven).
