YukLin EE, she is also known as Law EE in our family. She was and still is the one and only auntie would call me as how my parents call me by my Chinese name (亞彤) I have known Law EE at a very young age, when my family first move to UK and the first day stepping into my current home church. It was a very difficult time for us to settle down, we didn’t speak the language, living in a unfamiliar culture, missing all the people, foods and lives from Hong Kong. The Law’s family was God sent angels walked with us through those wintery seasons.

Both of our family became a very good friend, Law EE has became a sister whom supported my mum from the first days. We shared many fond memories. One of the most vivid one would have to be all the visits to the Law’s household. We went to their house a lots during my high school days, especially during weekends and school holidays, while the adults were preparing the big evening meals and chat over a kitchen worktop; we paired with the Law’s siblings and had our great time in their bedrooms.

Law EE is also the only auntie whom give this blessing on my birthday and Christmas each year, She’s say “May you love our Heavenly Father more in the coming year, serve HIM with all of your might, be greatly used in HIS work (嚟緊哩年要更加愛主, 俾心機事奉祂, 祂會大大咁使用你)” She was such a God-loving woman, and had great influent on me. In the resent years, her faith and positive attitude imprinted into my heart, she walked through all the treatments bravely with a huge smile. She encouraged me and sent me Whatsapp voice messages on the days I had to have a hospital stayed.

I thank God made her so special, even more so I thank God that he made both of our family cross path. I’m peacefully knowing that she is now beside our Heavenly Father and looking down on us.

We will meet again one day!
